School facilities

The following facilities are available at Lonsdale Heights Primary School:

Hall 

Our school hall is a large enclosed space which is used for physical education lessons, whole school events, and as a play space during the wetter months of the year

Oval

We have a large oval space which is equipped with Australian Football goalposts, as well as an open space which can be used for students to play other sports during break times.

Library

Our library has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction texts, with each class having a library lesson throughout the week which is run by their classroom teacher.

It is also equipped with board and card games which students are able to use during lunch breaks.

 

The library also hosts whole school assembly every three weeks.

Playgrounds

We have 2 playgrounds which are located next to our oval. These are used frequently by students before and after school, in addition to at recess and lunch breaks.

Basketball courts

We have three full-sized basketball courts, two of which are equipped with hoops. The third space has multiple handball courts available for student use.
