Welcome to Lonsdale Heights Primary School!

Lonsdale Heights Primary School is located in Christie Downs, about 29km south of Adelaide. The school has relatively small class sizes which has obvious benefits in curriculum delivery. The overall size of the school population allows for the development of meaningful relationships across year levels and between all staff and students.

The focus on reciprocal relationships, based on our shared values, ensures day-to-day accountability for both student development and learning. While all learning areas are catered for, NIT subjects are taught by two specialists teachers who deliver the STEM and Health curriculums.

All classes are equipped with interactive whiteboards. Individual laptops are provided to all students from Y3-6. Our junior primary students have access to Samsung tablets. This allows all students to have daily and regular access to technology to enhance and support their learning.

These provide the opportunity for classes to participate in a wide range of interactive experiences on any given topic. Our large library and excellent IT facilities enable our students to participate in resourced-based and Information Technology learning in a comfortable environment. Our shaded playgrounds and well-equipped gym provide safe venues for play and physical education opportunities.
